Disc Jockey, Day of Coordinator, KJ & Master of Ceremonies Since: 2013 Style: Laid back (but can turn up at a moments notice!), Fun, Professional My DJ philosophy is: …all about keeping the focus on you and your guests. What I enjoy most about DJing weddings? I most enjoy the feeling I get when a happy bride and groom come up to me and thank me for a job well done. It’s a great feeling knowing that I played a significant part in helping them make memories that will last a lifetime. What does it take to be a good DJ? First and foremost a good DJ selects songs that create a particular mood or feeling. A good DJ also has the skills to transition from song to song, even genre to genre, in a way that enhances the atmosphere of the event. It’s really all about using music That’s why I’ll probably go into motion picture sound design when I’m too old to DJ. My approach: I like to focus on what you want. I’ve found that the best results come when I know the type of experience you want for you and your guests and play the music that helps create that experience. What my clients say about me. “Our Family reunion went off smoothly. Many thanks to you for your help in planning and flexibility. DJ Ricky is a consummate professional.” Audrey B. “ DJ Ricky Riccardo is a calm, cool and collected professional. Even with last-minute changes to the wedding announcements and location of the ceremony, he and William worked with us to help us relax and enjoy our wedding day.” Sarah F.
